In fact, many parents decide to send their children to one of the Shenandoah schools for a variety of reasons. This is due to the fact that Shenandoah offers a variety of excellent schools that help prepare students for their futures.

1. Oak Ridge Elementary School – Conroe Independent School District, A-Rated

This is a highly-rated public elementary school in Conroe, Texas. The student population is 599 and the school serves grades PK, K-4 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. 64% of Galatas Elementary students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 50% scored at or above that level for reading.

2. Lamar Elementary School – Conroe Independent School District, A-Rated

Lamar Elementary School is an excellent public school in The Woodlands, Texas. It has a student population of 608 and serves grades PK, K-4 with a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. At Lamar Elementary School, 57% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 54% scored at or above that level for reading.
